We are looking for a Senior RF Engineer, who will serve as a leading expert in delivering deep OSS-based design and optimization services for Radio and Access Transmission network projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Execute advanced design & optimization projects
- Provide technical consultancy, develop and present technical solutions for radio network design and optimization services.
- Support the Sales team with technical inputs during bidding, proposal, and contract negotiation processes for RAN-related services and advanced solutions.
- Implement design and optimization services for Radio and Access Transmission networks, and prepare all related reports.
- Perform advanced system parameter optimization and reporting.
- Lead project teams: develop work plans, assign tasks, monitor project quality, motivate and recognize team members.
- Consult and support customers on the use of optimization tools, feature configuration, and parameter settings to meet the operator’s radio network quality standards.
2. Technology research
- Research emerging technologies and trends in RAN design and optimization services.
- Explore and evaluate new telecommunications solutions and technologies.
3. Training & knowledge sharing
- Deliver training sessions and presentations on new technologies in radio network design and optimization.
- Provide in-depth technical training to the internal engineering team.
- Participate in department-wide learning and development activities.
You will excel in this role if you have the following qualifications:
1. Knowledge & Experience
- Proven experience in designing and optimizing NR/LTE/UMTS/GSM networks, from basic to advanced parameters.
- Solid understanding of radio access network systems and equipment: MME/RNC/NodeB, BSC/TRAU/RBS, etc.
- Extensive hands-on experience with OSS tools from major vendors such as NetAct, AMOS, BI, M2000, etc.
- Proficient in using one or more widely adopted tools for network design, drive testing, data processing, and optimization: TEMS/NEMO, Aircom, Actix, Atoll, etc.Able to analyze and manage advanced radio network KPIs including: Accessibility, Retainability, Integrity, Mobility, High-level features and performance indicators
- Skilled in managing RAN configuration databases.
- At least 8 years of experience in radio network design and optimization.
2. Skills
- Strong teamwork and effective communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Negotiation and client-facing skills.
English proficiency: capable of effective communication and reading technical documents (minimum TOEIC 650 or equivalent) – required.
