[Corporate] - COMIT and VIAVI donate for an orphanage school in Yangon, Myanmar

Yangon, Myanmar 13th May 2016, COMIT Corporation co-ordinated with representatives from VIAVI Solutions (US) to visit and give presents to children in an orphanage school named Aung Zayar Min. Just one hour from Yangon to there, the school is a place for 800 people at all ages. The special thing is that the children living here will be monks and nuns and will work in different pagodas in Myanmar when they grow up.

With the aim of sharing and helping as many orphans as possible in practical kinds, COMIT and VIAVI management and staffs donated 800 breakfasts, lunches and many books, pens, drawings… to the children who are living and studying in Aung Zayar Min, Yangon. Although the gifts are small, this is a way of expressing the sympathy, deep sharing from COMIT and VIAVI to the children.

Following the Master of Aung Zayar Min school, there were a lot of organizations in the world sending charitable gifts to the children in the school, but this was the first time one Vietnamese organization visiting them and giving presents. COMIT and Viavi representattives visited the children’ accommodation, classroom and talked with them before having lunch.

COMIT will continue to organize charity events not only in Myanmar, but also in Vietnam and Philippines where COMIT offices are located in the coming time.
