[Communications] - COMIT participated in the International Conference & Exhibition of Vietnam Cyber Security Day 2022

At the end of November, COMIT attended the International Conference & Exhibition of Vietnam Cyber Security Day 2022, organized by the Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) in collaboration with the Information Security Department (Ministry of Information and Communications). This is an important annual event that stands out nationally and internationally in the field of cyber security in Vietnam.

This year, the exhibition was held with the theme: "Joining hands to protect people and businesses for safe digital transformation", and attracted nearly 30 speakers who are leaders of state management agencies, prestigious national and international experts in the field of network safety and security, about thousands of guests at the Hall and thousands of guests watching online.

The seminar program includes a plenary session in the morning and two special sessions in the afternoon. Morning plenary session with the topic "Cyber security for development digital economy, digital society" with the following contents: “Overview of the National InfoSec & CyberSec strategy in adapt to cope with challenges at cyberspace until 2025, heading to 2030 of Authority of Information Security”; the presentations of information and communication technology corporations in Vietnam, and foreign information security enterprises discussing about ensuring information security for digital transformation…

In the morning session, there was also a discussion with the topic "The role of enterprises in implementing the national cyber security and safety strategy". A highlight of the event was “The signing ceremony to establish the coalition to raise awareness and skills cyber security for citizen” and “The Awarding Certificate of the Ministry of Education for ASCIS, student teams who won high prizes in the ASEAN Information Security Student Competition 2022”.

In the afternoon, there were 2 sessions taking place in parallel. In which, topic 1: "Ensuring cyber security for organization, enterprise", topic 2: "Data security for digital transformation".

As a member of the Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA), COMIT participated in the seminar with the desire to understand the challenges in implementing the national cybersecurity strategy, as well as to catch the needs and trends so that we can provide telecommunications and communications network security solutions applying the most up-to-date technologies, in order to help organizations and businesses detect and promptly handle all incidents of cyber security contributing to ensuring the safety of cyberspace.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, COMIT and representatives of businesses that are members of VNISA participated and sponsored the VNISA Open golf tournament in 2022. This was considered an opening event, creating a good atmosphere for the event of the International Conference and Exhibition Vietnam Information Security Day 2022.
